Was fortunate enough to be invited to Laura and Dave’s wedding in Palm Springs. As usual, I dragged my camera along to try and capture some of the festivities as the night progressed. Dave is one of my oldest and closest friends and it was great to see him marry the woman he loves – I actually teared up a bit during the ceremony. The wedding was such a great expression of love and commitment and my wife and I were so happy to be a part of it and the locations they chose to host it (O’Donnell House and Arrive) were incredible and definitely contributed to just how special the event was. Congratulations to Laura and Dave on their marriage and I hope that it’s a long and happy one.
Spent the day on a float boat with TB2 guides Brenton and Colesey. Got some great shots but had to endure some mild ribbing from Colesey as I was having trouble roll casting the giant nymph rigs you need to catch fish on the Green. Brenton was slaying fish with streamers and nymphs and I got some great shots of the action and scenery. Thanks for Brenton and Colesey for the fantastic time and putting up with me holding a camera in their faces for the afternoon.
Had a fantastic time on the Middle Provo with guide Brenton and client Jane. Jane was a natural, pulling fish out of the river constantly during the shoot. The conditions were almost perfect, with a moderate flow and the occasional hatch allowing us to switch from a bounce rig to dry flies.
